Head to the Hood
Before leaving Boulder City, we had a good breakfast at Southwest Diner. A throwback to earlier years, the place was decorated with a lot of nostalgia. Julie struck up a conversation with a couple of local veterans and not only were they friendly, they were funny and welcoming to their town. Aside from dinner across the street, this place should be on your stop list. Good food (lots of it), and an upbeat vibe. We traveled through hundreds of miles in the Nevada desert and

Automobiles, Planes and Trains
No offense to John Candy & Steve Martin, we are back on the road, enjoying some gypsy life. Tucson is incredibly beautiful in summer, as blooms are everywhere and the colors are spectacular. I continue to live vicariously through your travels. Some places are familiar but most are new. Very interesting blogs! I miss traveling, especially the European river trips. I want to be there just not get there. I understand there is a river cruise now in New England. Pat and I went to McAllen Texas last year. Bad experience with American. He won't go near another airport. A few weeks ago, our relatiive visited from Alaska. Denny Gieser, a retired dentist in the Airforce, is the son of Alma's youngest brother.. He and his wife, Judy had an RV and traveled extensively in the lower 48. They kept the vehicle at some military base. Now it is summers in Ankorage and winters in Mexico. So glad you are enjoying your romings and may you do so for a long time! Happy Thanksgiving, wherever you are! 🦃🍷🍷🍗🍁
